Curved motion blur simulation

VirtualRig™ Studio is the only software product on the market supporting curved motion blur. This allows the conception of pictures that were previously possible only with a camera rig, without the associated time and costs (learn more). The artist decides what to blur and by how much.

CGI and standard photographic images

VirtualRig™ Studio delivers stunning results for both CGI and standard photographic images. See the gallery and try to find out for yourself which pictures are real and which are CGI.

HDRI images and spheres

VirtualRig™ Studio supports high dynamic range images (HDRI), a professional image format which preserves more luminance information per pixel than traditional formats. Large-resolution panoramic pictures are also supported - the motion blur on the edges of the picture will be smooth. The latter feature enables you to render photo-realistic blurred car reflections in third-party 3D visualization software, such as VRED.

Adjustment of virtual speed

With VirtualRig™ Studio you adjust the speed to change the look of the picture with just a few clicks. Want to go faster? Slow down? Our software allows you to change the gears!

See different speed settings for the same scene:

• Speed coefficient: 0.2
• Speed coefficient: 0.5
• Speed coefficient: 0.8

Transparent images

VirtualRig™ Studio supports images with alpha transparency channel. This allows you to decompose a picture into separate layers, render them with different speed and blur settings, and combine the final renders to get amazing results.
